About this site.

So many people are familiar with the term Defense in Depth.  The concept that layers of security in a computer network can minimize the potential for breach.  It's a term borrowed from the military - if one layer fails, the next is there to provide an additional protection.  Indeed whole books can and have been written on the subject.  But there's little discussion of the opposite side of the coin,  The security industry seems only to educate it's customers in so much as it can help them sell a product.  There's no one talking about Offense in Depth, and so this sites name was born.  More than anything though, it's a fun play on a popular phrase.

I haven't quite decided what kind of content I'm going to share via this site, so for now, it'll be anything security-related that strikes my fancy.  I hope you enjoy it, and please feel free to contact me.
